Why I practice this way

"I've been the patient told her labs were normal, while feeling anything but."

After having my two children, I found BHRT, and it changed everything. That's the reason this practice exists.

"Your labs are normal" is not the same as feeling well. Neither is "it's normal for your age."
I look deeper. Because the details are where the answers actually live.

If this resonates

These symptoms have a cause.
And a solution.

Hormonal imbalance shows up differently in every person. In women it often looks like mood changes, fatigue, or cycle disruption. In men it often looks like low drive, low energy, brain fog, and a thyroid that has never been properly evaluated. If any of these sound familiar, your hormones deserve a closer look.

Fatigue
Exhausted regardless of how much you sleep, running on caffeine just to get through the day. Your thyroid controls your metabolism, and your metabolism controls your energy. Most providers check basic thyroid numbers. We run the full panel, because the answers are often in what gets left out.
Normal Labs
Told your bloodwork is fine, or that it's just normal for your age, but something is clearly wrong and no one will look any deeper. Lab values are guideposts, not absolutes. Where you fall within a range matters just as much as whether you're in it.
Weight & Body Composition
Doing everything right, eating well, exercising, and still can't move the scale or build muscle.
Libido & Sexual Health
Lost the desire to connect with your partner, or with yourself. Low libido is not a personality trait. It's a hormonal signal, and it's highly treatable in both men and women.
Anxiety & Depression
If you've been treated for anxiety or depression but never felt quite right, a hormonal driver may be part of the picture that was never looked for. Hormones directly affect serotonin, dopamine, and GABA, the same pathways targeted by most psychiatric medications.
Brain Fog & Cognition
That moment when you're mid-sentence and completely lose the word you were about to say. Trouble focusing, forgetting things you just knew, or feeling mentally slower than you used to be. Brain fog is one of the most common and most dismissed hormonal symptoms.
For Men

Low testosterone is often
diagnosed as depression.

The flat mood. The low motivation. The feeling that nothing excites you anymore. Those are textbook low testosterone symptoms. A lot of men are put on antidepressants when what they actually need is their hormones checked.

This is not a problem that only affects men over 60. I see it regularly in men in their 30s. And most providers never run a complete panel.

You show up differently when it is optimized.
Sharper at work. More present at home. Less short-fused. Your body responds again. Confidence comes back in ways you forgot you used to have.
Your thyroid matters too.
It controls your metabolism, which controls your energy. Most providers run one or two markers and call it normal. A complete panel tells a very different story.
Your workouts stop working for a reason.
You train the same. You eat well. Nothing changes. That is a hormone problem, not a willpower problem.

My Story

I have been
the patient who
wasn't being heard.

After having my two children, I stopped recognizing myself. I was exhausted no matter what I did, irritable and anxious in ways that weren't like me, and had completely lost my drive, physically, emotionally, and professionally. What I was experiencing looked a lot like depression. The root cause was hormonal.

"I kept being told my labs were normal. I knew something was wrong, and I kept looking."

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy changed my life. My energy came back. I felt like myself again. And it changed the direction of my career entirely.

My background is in Pediatric Critical Care, I trained at Rush University and spent years caring for the most complex patients. That precision is what I bring to hormone optimization. The details that most providers overlook are the ones that matter most.

I treat men and women equally in this practice. Low testosterone is just as real, just as impactful, and just as treatable as any female hormone imbalance, and men deserve a provider who takes it seriously.

Something worth saying out loud
"Libido is not just about sex. It's about life force, vitality, self-trust, and connection."

When your hormones are off, libido is often the first thing to disappear, and the last thing anyone talks about. It's not superficial. It's a signal. When that drive comes back, so does everything else. That's what we're restoring.
