These terms apply when you buy a digital guide from LDNP, LLC, doing business as Lauren Derks NP, operated by Lauren Derks, DNP, FNP-C ("we," "us"). By completing your purchase, you agree to these terms and to our Medical and Education Disclaimer.
You are buying a digital PDF guide. You receive a personal license to read and print it for your own use. The license cannot be transferred.
The guide shares general health information. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan, and it does not replace care from your own licensed provider.
Buying, downloading, or reading the guide does not make you a patient of Lauren Derks, DNP, FNP-C. Joining a waitlist does not either. We have not reviewed your history, symptoms, or lab results.
We do not answer questions about your personal results, symptoms, or treatment by email, direct message, or any other channel outside of a scheduled patient visit. Any treatment is decided and guided by your own licensed provider. Whether you need treatment is that provider's decision, based on your symptoms, medical history, family history, goals, and lab results together.
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old. You agree to talk with your own licensed provider before acting on anything in the guide. You agree not to start, stop, or change any medication, hormone, or supplement because of the guide.
Payment is due at checkout. The guide is delivered by download link or email right after purchase.
Because the guide is delivered instantly, all sales are final. If you were charged twice or cannot open the file, email us within 7 days and we will fix it.
The guide belongs to Lauren Derks, DNP, FNP-C. You may not copy, share, resell, post, or distribute any part of it.
We make no promise that any test will be ordered, covered by insurance, or lead to any result or outcome.
The guide is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that the guide is complete, current, or right for your situation.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or harm that comes from the guide or your use of it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the guide.
You use the guide at your own choice and risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, you release Lauren Derks, DNP, FNP-C, LDNP, LLC, and their owners and contractors from any claim that comes from your use of the guide, INCLUDING CLAIMS BASED ON NEGLIGENCE OR FAULT. This release does not apply to gross negligence or intentional wrongdoing, or anywhere the law does not allow it.
You agree to cover any claim, loss, or cost that results from your breaking these terms, including sharing or reselling the guide.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Jackson County, Missouri.
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. Nothing in these terms limits any right that cannot be waived under the consumer protection laws that apply to you. These terms and the Medical and Education Disclaimer are the full agreement between us. We may update these terms, and the version posted on the date of your purchase applies to you.
